Alex Jones is back doing what she does best on The One Show, and impressing us with her on-screen outfits, too! For Tuesday’s episode, the presenter championed the UK high street with her look – with fans swooning over her fitted Marks and Spencer pencil skirt. Posting a shot of her latest fashion picks on Instagram, she wrote: “Head to toe in high street tonight. Skirt @marksandspencer top that is a more than a bit Pierrot is @topshop. #dressingupjones.”
We’ve got good news, because Alex’s chic denim skirt is still in stock at M&S – and costs just £35. Styled as always by Tess Wright, the star chose to wear the dark indigo wash, but there’s a number of other shades available.
Meanwhile, the presenter’s gorgeous white shirt is a Topshop sale bargain at just £20.30 – but hurry if you love it, because it’s selling out quickly. Made in light cotton with a frill yoke detail, it would look lovely with everything from jeans to skirts like Alex’s.
It sounds like TV stylist Tess was head over heels for the outfit, too, since she posted it on her own Instagram page, writing: “The Great British high street has some really amazing pieces. We all need to get back out there spending and supporting these well known brands as they all need our help!!!”
Alex recently returned to The One Show after taking two weeks off with her family, reuniting with her parents for an idyllic beach break in the UK.
Upon her return to the green sofa, fans inundated her with heartwarming welcome back messages. Shortly after finishing her first episode, she took to Twitter to write: “Thanks for all your messages. Lovely to be back on @BBCTheOneShow tonight with @Rylan. See you same time tomorrow xx.”
